The Thermal Imaging Camera

The Thermal Imaging Camera is used by firefighters to detect heat and fire. It can be used either in a clear or smoke filled atmosphere. When used in thick smoke the heat from a fire, or the body heat from a  person, shows up clearly even in complete darkness. Below left is a picture of firefighter  John (legs) Delaney using the T.I.C. (Thermal Image Camera) . If you put your mouse over the picture on the right you will see how it would look if you were looking at him through the T.I.C. Camera.
