The U.K. is covered by many different fire brigades. This is a map showing the area covered by the West Midlands Fire Service. Within this area of 89,874 hectares there lives approximately 2,621,600 people.

Forty-one fire stations provide by over two thousand firefighters who deliver both the emergency response and community fire safety education service to the communities of the West Midlands.

The region includes the major cities of Birmingham and Coventry, and the five metropolitan districts of Sandwell, Dudley, Solihull, Walsall and Wolverhampton.
