Iris Skinner, our venerable cleaner of all things dirty at Sheldon was recently honoured for the 20 years of hard work she has given to the West Midlands Fire Service. Iris, in partnership with Lynn Durrant manages to dust, tidy and polishes the fire station to an astonishing level of cleanliness considering the mess that we manage to leave. Iris lives locally and is especially popular amongst the firefighters for her forthright opinions on any subject and her classic put-downs of the male ego.
I know that all staff at Sheldon would like to register their appreciation for their efforts and especially congratulate Iris on reaching this milestone.
