Hose Coffin

Above you can see the hose coffin which is used to store several lengths of connected hose for rapid deployment. The coupling you can see will be connected to a supply of water which can be a hydrant or another fire engine. The driver of the fire engine laying the hose will then drive slowly towards where the water is required. As the fire engine moves forward the layered hose is pulled from the Coffin. Long distances can be covered quickly by using a number of Appliances each deploying their hose in the same manner.
