Charity Car Wash 26th May 2007 in aid of the FSNBF and Marie Curie Cancer Care
This event was well attended by both the YFA, Marie Curie
nurses and Sheldon's firefighters. The Heart FM (100.7) radio road show were
also at the charity car wash and the event was mentioned three times on the live
broadcast during the morning, this was greatly appreciated because we were all
kept extremely busy. All proceeds will be divided equally between The
Fire Service National Benevolent Fund (FSNBF) and
Marie Curie Cancer Care. The event was supported by large retail outlets that
provided food, drinks and car washing equipment. Everyone worked very hard and
enjoyed the day. Total raised over £330
