Sheldon Fire Station is situated in the centre of Sheldon on Garretts Green Lane, West Midlands. It is close to the M6, M42 and the A45, you can see the area the West Midlands covers in the United Kingdom by looking at the background picture. The green area in the centre of England is the West Midlands.

You can see the stations in the West Midlands by clicking here.

Birmingham Airport and the NEC are also within a few minutes reach and we do go to these sites if there is an emergency call made to these premises.

Sheldon is mainly a residential area with small commercial and industrial sites located within it.

 Sheldon

The main problem we seem to have in Sheldon is with car fires. These are not accidental but malicious fires started usually after the car has been stolen and then dumped often on parkland. We usually go to at least one car fire a night with one particularly busy night achieving seven in total. We are currently trying to think of strategies in conjunction with other services to reduce this number.
